A couple of years ago you recommended Maura Melcher for help on my child custody and support case — thank you so very much for doing so. Maura was truly great; wonderfully understanding and helpful, professional and also rather a comrade in arms in my case. We finally reached a settlement with my obstreperous, abusive, narcissistic ex — who insisted on representing himself — and it is a very good, extremely livable result. (Far better than a judge would have found, monetarily speaking, and much more satisfying personally as well.)

I could not have done it without her, to be sure. She excelled at keeping my ex engaged, working tenaciously to reach an agreement despite his contemptuous disrespect and unpredictable, unreasonable behavior.

Maura is a very attentive attorney who pays attention to detail, listens to her clients and gets to know the case she is working on. Last year I went thru a terrible divorce. The process was overwhelming and I was fighting constantly with my ex about every aspect.  I tried to go it without a lawyer at first, to save money. But eventually it became too much and I hired attorney Melcher, she was wonderful!. She is the most professional, was always prompt returning my calls and kept me up to date and informed. She fought very hard on my behalf and negotiated such a good settlement that it shocked me to when my Ex agreed to it. Attorney Melcher really worked a miracle.  She is very knowledgeable, efficient and she was worth every penny.

All of this she did … at a good price. Knowing what I know now, I would never sign the divorce agreement without an attorney’s representation. In fact, I would never sign one without attorney Melcher’s representation.  She is the best!  Five stars !!!

Attorney Melcher was a pleasure to work with!  I’m a father of three beautiful girls at the young age of 35. My kids mean the world to me and I was crushed that one my partner in life wanted a divorce and two at the thought of losing ANY time with my girls! As soon as I found and met with attorney Melcher, I felt more comfortable about a fair outcome.  She was very professional, prompt, caring and always available for any questions or concerns I had throughout the process. Well, after a really bad experience with another attorney, that pretty much took all my money without doing anything, i was pretty defeated when I called attorney (Nicholson) Melcher. She was pretty detailed oriented, organized, flexible and friendly. I was extremely happy with her services and outcome of my case and without a doubt will recommend her.

Maura realy helped me at a time when I neded it. she took a divorce I had been working on for three years and finished it in a few short months.  It wasn’t the easiest task as I had an apartment building and other issues to resolve. I hope I never have to use Maura again but if I do, she will be the first person I call for help.  Thanks so much!

Maura was a excellent lawyer and she helped me immensely. She was always there for me and she was very kind. She explained everything to me in detail. She was very professional. She was my divorce lawyer and I moved in the middle of it and she was right on top of it and made all the changes very fast. It was all done in a few months. I would recommend her to anyone.

I initially found attorney Melcher (Nicholson) threw a craigslist advert so I didn’t totally know what to expect, but right from the get go she was helpful, kind, and responsive. For me, the biggest pet peeve is when I can’t ever get my lawyer on the phone, Ive had a few bad experiences like this before. Not with attorney Melcher (nicholson). I would really recommend her to anyone!

Whenever I need legal assistance for landlord/tenant relations, contracts, brokerage disputes and inter-office issues, Maura is the first person I call. I had a very hard time during my divorce and felt such a relief after i finally get the divorce approval. I was in an abusive relationship for about 5 years. I am so lucky that Maura helped me to get out of the situation and she encouraged me a lot during the separation and divorce. There were a lot of hesitation and self doubt during the divorce several months ago but now I feel that I should leave this man earlier and my life is much better without him. It takes a lot of strength and determination to end this kind of relationship. I appreciate very much that Maura helped me a lot.

I was overpaying my ex wife. Melcher (Nicholson) guided me through the divorce process and got a really excellent result without me spending a fortune on her service. Once we had the separation agreement in place, and later the final divorce, my costs went well below what I was paying after trying to mediate it on my own.
