Mikayla Monteiro Ribeiro joined Melcher Law, P.C. in 2024 as a Paralegal after earning her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she double-majored in Legal Studies and Psychology. Demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment to her education, Mikayla completed her bachelor’s degree in just two and a half years after graduating from high school. She graduated cum laude with a 3.91 GPA.
As a Family Law Paralegal, Mikayla Ribeiro supports attorneys throughout all phases of family law matters, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and other legal documents, preparing and responding to discovery requests, managing discovery materials, maintaining case calendars, and assisting with hearing and trial preparation. Her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage a high volume of responsibilities allow her to provide thorough and effective support to attorneys and clients.
Mikayla Ribeiro developed a passion for helping others through her academic studies and professional experiences. Her mediation training further strengthened her interest in conflict resolution and assisting individuals through challenging circumstances. She takes pride in helping attorneys advocate for individuals and families during what can often be some of the most difficult and life-changing periods of their lives. As she continues to build her experience in family law, Mikayla is working toward becoming an attorney and looks forward to continuing to develop her legal knowledge and advocacy skills.
